Cookie Policy

Cookie Policy

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on cryonix.ie, why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help a site remember your actions and preferences — such as the contents of your shopping cart or your cookie choices — so you don’t have to re-enter them on every page. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, serve comparable purposes, and this policy covers those too.

2. Your choices

When you first visit cryonix.ie, a consent banner lets you accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose category by category.

If you accept all, we store your choice for 365 days, after which we ask again. If you reject non-essential cookies, we still store that decision, so we don’t keep asking on every visit.

You can change your mind at any time by clicking the Manage consent button that appears at the bottom of the page, and reopening the preferences panel. Withdrawing consent stops any new non-essential cookie being set, and blocks the relevant scripts from loading on subsequent page views.

3. Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These are required for the store to work and cannot be switched off. They keep your shopping cart and session together, remember your consent decision, and keep your account secure if you sign in. Without them, checkout would not function.

Statistics

These help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and where the site is slow — so we can improve it. They are only loaded after you consent to statistics.

We use:

  • Google Analytics 4 (delivered through Google Site Kit) — aggregate traffic and behaviour reporting.
  • Jetpack Stats — page views, referrers and basic visitor statistics for our own site.
  • WooCommerce Analytics — anonymous measurement of store interactions.

Marketing

These let us measure the performance of our advertising and show relevant ads to people who have shown interest in our products. They are only loaded after you consent to marketing.

We use:

  • Google Ads — conversion measurement for our Google advertising.
  • TikTok Pixel — measures visits, product views, add-to-cart and checkout events so we can measure our TikTok advertising and improve product recommendations.

Where these tools receive information about you, it is limited to what is needed for advertising measurement. We do not sell your personal data.

Functionality

These remember choices you make to improve your experience — for example, whether you have already seen our newsletter sign-up popup, so that we do not show it to you repeatedly.

4. What happens if you decline

Declining non-essential cookies does not restrict your ability to browse or buy. You can still use the shop, add items to your cart and complete an order. The only difference is that we receive less information about how the site is used and how our advertising performs.

5. Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you view, delete and block cookies through their settings. You can also set your browser to notify you when a cookie is set. Blocking all cookies may affect how parts of cryonix.ie work, particularly the shopping cart and checkout.

6. Other tracking technologies

We may use pixels and similar technologies in our emails to understand whether messages have been opened. These are covered by this policy and by your consent choices where required.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we change the services we use or when the law changes. The date below shows when it was last revised.

8. Contact
